Know Your Rights to Union
Representation
YOUR RIGHTS ARE PROTECTED BY LAW:
1.You have the right to Union Representation before or during
an interview with Management. Management is NOT obligated
to offer representation...YOU MUST ASK FOR THE
STEWARD.
2.If the manager denies your request, and continues to ask
questions of you, he/she has committed an unfair labor
practice. The employee then has the right to refuse to answer.
3.Do not ask Do I need a steward? By law that is your
decision to make not the managers. You may stop an
interview at any time and request a steward.
